Infrastructure Ministry unveils candidates for Ukrzaliznytsia head

Ukraine's Ministry of Infrastructure has announced the final list of candidates for the post of head of State Railways Administration of Ukraine, Ukrzaliznytsia.

According to the ministry’s press service, the list includes Dina Nemyrovych – Farmak CFO, Yevhen Romaschin - CEO of Corum Group, Daniel Valk – CEO of North American Interpipe.

"Laws are not enough to implement reforms; we need people who will do these reforms. In this regard, we implemented a procedure for the transparent selection of heads for state-owned enterprises," Minister of Infrastructure Andriy Pyvovarsky said at a briefing in Kyiv.

Speaking about the final candidates for the post of Ukrzaliznytsia head, he noted that these people were chosen from more than 200 candidates, they are the top managers of large companies whom experts and Pyvovarsky consider to be able to realize their set tasks.

"Each of the three candidates will be able to bring Ukrzaliznytsia to a new level," he added.
