Deadline to apply for head of Ukrzaliznytsia, two airports, has passed

The deadline for applicants to apply for the posts of the heads of Boryspil and Lviv airports, and the State Railway Administration of Ukraine (Ukrzaliznytsia), has passed.

The Infrastructure Ministry of Ukraine’s press service said that from December 31 to January 19 over 200 résumés from potential candidates for the post of the head of Ukrzaliznytsia were received, with roughly the same number of applications for the airport posts being received as well.

The assessment of the applications is underway.

Interviews (the second stage of selection) with those candidates who passed the qualification assessment have begun. First Deputy Infrastructure Minister Volodymyr Shulmeister, Deputy Infrastructure Minister Volodymyr Omelian, and experts Roman Bondar (a partner of Talent Advisors), Olena Volska (a managing partner of EBS) and Andriy Bulakh (a managing partner of Deloitte) are involved.

"After the second phase I will meet each candidate for the posts of directors general. I hope that candidates will present a detailed reform and company development plan. I will present those proposed to the nomination committee whose experience and proposals to increase effectiveness and quality of operation of companies will have the economic benefit for the state," the press service said, citing Infrastructure Minister Andriy Pyvovarov.

In addition, the minister plans to create a staff reserve for replacing persons in key posts in central sector executive power agencies.
