DTEK reorganizes operation of corporate center in Donetsk due to armed conflict

DTEK has reorganized the operation of its corporate center in Donetsk to efficiently manage its energy and coal enterprises in the current difficult situation, the company's press service reported on Tuesday, July 15.

The press service said that at present, employees of the Donetsk corporate center are working from offices in other cities and towns: Zaporizhia, Pavlohrad, Dnipropetrovsk and Kyiv.

"Normal working processes continue, the safety of the staff is ensured, and all office equipment and communications devices have been moved," reads the report.

DTEK Director General Maksym Tymchneko said that the company is doing everything possible to predict all scenarios, make quick decisions and provide for the efficient and safe work of people. Due to the warfare in Donbas, business processes are being adapted and changed.

DTEK was established in 2005 to manage the energy assets of System Capital Management (SCM, Donetsk), belonging to Rinat Akhmetov. The corporation performs the strategic management of the group's enterprises, composing a vertically integrated chain for coal mining and enrichment, electricity generation and sales.
