Ukraine meeting gas obligations - Naftogaz head

Ukraine is meeting its transit obligations during the delivery of Russian gas to European countries precisely and in compliance with existing agreements, Naftogaz Ukrainy head Andriy Kobolev said.

At a press conference in Kyiv on Monday he said that today information has appeared in the media on the decrease of gas being delivered for transit across Ukraine, but it has been denied by both Russia's Gazprom and the Russian Energy Ministry.

Kobolev said this was because the issue on the supply, control, and fulfillment of requests for the transit of gas between Naftogaz and Gazprom has not been fully resolved.
