Ukrzaliznytsia forecasts reorientation of Crimean passenger traffic to other regions
State Railways Administration of Ukraine Ukrzaliznytsia forecasts the reorientation of passengers traffic from the peninsula to other regions of the country in the direction of Odesa, Berdiansk, Henichesk, Kherson and Western Ukraine, head of the main passenger department at Ukrzaliznytsia Ihor Breus has told reporters at a press conference in Kyiv.
According to him, in this regard the new schedule for 2014-2015 (from June 1, 2014) will include eight new trains: No. 246/245 Chernivtsi, Lviv-Henichesk, No. 256/255 Lviv-Kherson, No. 282/281 Kyiv-Henichesk, No. 287/288 Kyiv-Odesa, Izmail, No. 298/297 Kyiv-Kherson, No. 452/451 Mykolaiv-Donetsk (if necessary), No. 472/522-551/471 Dnipropetrovsk, Kryvy Rih-Berdiansk and No. 901/902 Kyiv-Odesa, Izmail (a special train).
In addition, according to Breus, the frequency of the following trains will be increased: No. 227/228 Kyiv-Berdiansk, No. 120/119 Zaporizhia-Lviv, No. 13/14 Uzhgorod-Kyiv and No. 668/667 Chernivtsi-Kovel.
