Situation in Crimea not to affect transit of Russian gas through Ukraine - Energy Minister
Ukraine currently provides for the uninterrupted transit of Russian gas to Europe, and will continue to do so, Ukrainian Minister of Energy and Coal Industry Yuriy Prodan said at a briefing in Kyiv on Monday.
"The current situation in Crimea will not affect gas transit," he said.
The daily transit of Russian gas to Europe through Ukraine was 200 million cubic meters on March 1 against 225 million cubic meters a year previously.
