Ukraine ready to ensure full gas transit to Europe this winter – Naftogaz

Ukraine is prepared to ensure that gas transits its territory in full volume this winter, the chief of national oil and gas company Naftogaz Ukrainy Yevhen Bakulin said.

"We, as in all previous years, are prepared to ensure the full measure of Russian gas transit to Europe," Bakulin said during an intercom conference on Tuesday in Kyiv.

Ukraine currently has 17.2 billion cubic meters of gas in underground storage, Bakulin said.

Ukraine's domestic demand for gas this winter will also be supplied in full, he said.
