DTEK Dniproenergo in Jan-Sep posts 2.7-times rise in net profit under IFRS

Energy generating company PJSC DTEK Dniproenergo (Zaporizhia) in January-September 2013 saw its net profit under international financial reporting standards (IFRS) rise by 2.7 times compared to the same period last year, to UAH 680.919 million.

According to a company report in the information disclosure system of the National Commission on Securities and the Stock Market, its net income for the first nine months of this year increased by 2.1%, to UAH 7.027 billion, and its gross profit by 58.7%, to UAH 748.408 million.

Thus, in July-September 2013 the net profit of Dniproenergo under IFRS amounted to UAH 349.465 million, its net income was UAH 4.169 billion, and its gross profit was UAH 345.625 million.

Production of electricity by the generating company in January-September 2013 amounted to 11.419 billion kWh, and thermal energy – 350,512 Gcal.

As reported, Dniproenergo in 2012 saw a net profit under IFRS of UAH 938.9 million, and its net income was UAH 11.077 billion.
