DTEK Dniproenergo wants to raise loans worth UAH 782.8 m

Energy generating public joint-stock company DTEK Dniproenergo (Zaporizhia) plans to take two credit lines worth UAH 782.8 million, while Energy generating public joint-stock company DTEK Zakhidenergo (Lviv) wants to take one credit line of UAH 68 million, reads a posting on the Web site of state procurement.

The two companies will accept bids until August 28, 2013.

DTEK Dniproenergo wants to raise the funds for the period until December 2020 (the first credit line worth UAH 583 million) and until December 2017 (the second credit line worth UAH 199.8 million).

DTEK Zakhidenergo wants to raise funds for the period until July 2015.

As reported, Dniproenergo is one of the largest energy generating companies in Ukraine. It runs the Prydniprovska, Kryvy Rih, and Zaporizhia thermal power plants, which have a total generating capacity of 8.185 GW (25 energy generators).

DTEK holds a 72.9% stake in Dniproenergo and Energy Company of Ukraine holds 25%, and Larva Investments Limited (Cyrus) holds 15.89%.

DTEK Zakhidenergo operates 23 power units at the Burshtyn, Ladyzhyn and Dobrotvirska thermal power plants, which have a total installed capacity of 4,628.5 megawatts.

DTEK holds a 72.2% stake in DTEK Zakhidenergo, and National Energy Company of Ukraine holds another 25% stake in the company.
