Naftogaz posts net loss in 2012

Ukraine's national oil and gas company Naftogaz Ukrainy under Ukrainian accounting standards generated a net loss of UAH 10.271 billion in 2012, compared to a net profit of UAH 7.764 billion a year before, the company said in a statement posted in the information disclosure system of the National Commission on Securities and the Stock Market.

Its net income fell 9.9% to UAH 97.420 billion last year.

Naftogaz Ukrainy had a UAH 260.9-million gross loss in 2012, compared to gross profit of UAH 11.973 billion in 2011.
