Ukrzaliznytsia allows four companies to take part in tender to buy spares for crossing points
State Railways Administration Ukrzaliznytsia has allowed four companies to participate in a tender to buy spares for crossing points and within 30 days will assess these bids, the administration's press service has told Interfax-Ukraine.
Ukrzaliznytsia clarified that on March 7 it disclosed tender proposals from participant producers and it would accept bids after the tender proposals are evaluated.
Ukrzaliznytsia also emphasized that, in accordance with the law, the tender committee, when estimating tender proposals, follows the principle of objectivity and an unbiased attitude to each of the participants.
All stages of the tender are transparent and open to the participants. All of the bidders have equal conditions.
Previously, PJSC Dnipropetrovsk Crossing Point Plant expressed concern that it would not be allowed to participate in this tender. But on Thursday the company reported it had been allowed to take part in the tender, but it forecast it would lose as its prices are higher than those of its competitors.
The plant said it would work on optimizing costs and at the next tenders it would offer more competitive prices.
Kerch Crossing Point Plant, part of Transinvest Holding, also earlier announced its intention to participate in the tender.
