"During the course, Ukrainian participants learned about the work of the Israel National Police, visited police facilities and training centers, and took part in roundtable discussions with police officers and volunteers", said in a message from the Embassy of Ukraine in Israel in Facebook.

Special attention was given to Israel’s unique experience in integrating over 37,000 volunteers into public safety efforts and to successful national initiatives such as “City Without Violence” and “Municipal Police”.

At the closing ceremony, a representative of the Embassy of Ukraine in Israel expressed gratitude to the Israeli side for the excellent organization of the course, its support for Ukrainian law enforcement professionals, and its willingness to share valuable expertise in the field of community security.

The knowledge and practical skills gained during the course will serve Ukrainian police officers well in their daily work amid the ongoing Russian aggression against Ukraine.

Both Ukrainian and Israeli sides reaffirmed their commitment to continue cooperation in professional training and to further develop humanitarian and educational programs in support of Ukraine.
